Being a travel photographer, I end up carrying more equipment's than clothes on a trip. Road trips, in particular are what I prefer, which enables me to stop when I want and capture interior landscapes and faces. I work with Kerala Tourism and Photoworkshop Adventures which calls for regular travelling. In doing so, my car often turns into a second home. That’s what made me chose a car which is spacious, comfortable and travel friendly. The picture featured here is from my hometown, Munnar which again demands a good car as it’s a hill station. MG Hector has been very good on that, with off- road capabilities and long drive comfort.
An add for me, as a wildlife photographer is the sunroof, which allows me to capture shots without opening the door or disturbing animals in their natural habitat.
I was slightly hesitant before choosing this car, as it’s the first launch of MG in India. But now after 7 months, I feel satisfied that it was my right decision to take MG.
The support and service has also been excellent. They have even serviced within a day which has been very convenient.

Morris Garages is a familiar name from my childhood. Then British-made MG cars were only seen in films and movies. My son searched on Google to find out that MG was going to launch a car called MG HECTOR in the Indian market. My wish came true on 10th July 2019, when the first segment of MG Hector arrived in Ernakulam and I could afford one. I'm happy with my new SUV with its’s good size and elegant features that none of the other competitors provide.
As one of the first cars arrived in Kerala, in the initial few days people were fascinated with its significance. I along with my MG Hector were also featured on two YouTube channels. When travelling with family, I can travel comfortably as there is plenty of space inside.
Let me tell you one more thing, it makes me happy to say that MG Hector is better than the best SUV in my vision.

There are times when you go out to get one thing and end up buying something else. My mind was almost made up for one of the cars that we had already test driven. But then, suddenly my family asked me to just go and check up on this new MG Hector . So I went to the showroom and enquired about the car and the salesperson offered me a test drive instantly. I drove the car and just within few minutes I called up my family and said we are going for MG. The best thing about this car is its drive quality. Its sheer pleasure and to top it off the engine response is just great. Also the fit and finish of the car is just perfect and all the features laden in the package are good enough for the price point that has been offered. I should mention that, I just love the suspension of MG. Overall I am very much satisfied with my MG Hector. MG has already made me a loyal customer and indeed I am a proud owner of one.
